DJ Boy – Sega Genesis Game

DJ Boy is a side-scrolling beat ’em up adapted from the arcade. You play as a young skater who rolls through city streets on inline skates, throwing punches and kicks at gangs of thugs while moving from one area to the next. Attacks are handled with a small set of moves, and your skates keep you sliding around the screen, so positioning and timing matter as enemies close in from both sides. Stages end with tougher opponents that take more punishment and hit back harder, and pickups appear along the way to help you keep going. The look is urban and cartoonish, with bright backdrops and exaggerated character designs. Play is single-screen and level-based in the style of other Genesis brawlers of its era, with a focus on crowd control and repeated runs to learn enemy patterns.
