Double Dragon III The Arcade Game – Gameboy Game

A Game Boy version of Double Dragon 3, a side-scrolling beat ’em up in the series. You fight through horizontally scrolling stages against waves of enemies using punches, kicks, jumps and grapple attacks, with weapons available from defeated opponents. The story sends the Lee brothers beyond their home city, with stages set in different parts of the world and a boss encounter closing out each one. As a handheld conversion, the screen shows fewer enemies at once than the arcade original and the levels are laid out to suit the smaller display. Play is single-player, with lives and a health gauge tracking your progress. Learning enemy approach patterns and using the environment to avoid being flanked are the main tactical concerns.
