Double Dragon – Sega Genesis Game

A home conversion of the side-scrolling arcade brawler for the Sega Genesis. You take the role of Billy Lee, a martial artist fighting through city streets, industrial areas and enemy hideouts to rescue Marian after she is kidnapped by a street gang. The combat is built around punches, kicks, jumps and grapples, with throws and headbutts available once you have an enemy held. Weapons dropped by defeated thugs, such as bats, whips, crates and barrels, can be picked up and swung until you lose them. Enemies arrive in waves and often attack from both sides at once, so positioning matters as much as timing. Levels end with tougher opponents who absorb more punishment and hit harder than the standard gang members.
