Dr. Mario / Puzzle League – GBA Game

This Game Boy Advance cartridge packages two Nintendo puzzle games together. Dr. Mario has you dropping two-coloured capsules into a bottle and lining up four or more matching colours to destroy the viruses inside, with falling leftover halves setting off chain reactions and adjustable virus levels and drop speeds. Puzzle League is the block-swapping game in which tiles rise from the bottom of the playfield and you slide them sideways with a cursor to form matching rows or columns of three or more, clearing combos and chains to keep the stack from reaching the top. Both games include single-player modes and head-to-head play, and either one can be selected from the cartridge’s menu, so the release works as two distinct puzzle games on one cartridge.
