E-SWAT – Sega Master System Game

E-SWAT is a side-scrolling action game in which you play a police officer assigned to a city overrun by an armed criminal organization. You begin on foot with a basic sidearm, moving right through urban stages and shooting enemies who appear from doorways, rooftops and vehicles. Clearing missions earns promotions, which grant access to powered combat armor that increases your durability and gives you stronger weaponry and a jetpack for short flights. Controls are straightforward: move, jump, duck and fire in the direction you face, with limited special ammunition to manage against tougher opponents. Each stage ends with a boss encounter against a heavily armed leader or machine. The Master System version reworks the arcade original’s layout and presentation for home hardware, keeping the mix of gunfights and armored power-ups across a series of city missions.
