Exo Squad – Sega Genesis Game

Exo Squad is an action game for the Sega Genesis based on the animated science fiction series. You fight as a Neosapien-era soldier piloting armored E-frame mechs, working through stages of enemy troops, turrets and machinery. Play is action-oriented, combining shooting with movement through hostile environments, and different E-frame equipment changes how you approach a level. Enemies come at you from multiple directions, so positioning and managing your weapons and health matter as stages get longer. Bosses appear at the end of sections. Fans of the show will recognize the setting and its conflict between humans and the Neosapiens, and the game’s presentation draws on the series’ mech designs. Controls are straightforward, with buttons for firing and jumping or thrusting.
