Extra Innings is a baseball video game for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. It focuses on hands-on control across batting, pitching, fielding, and managerial lineup decisions.
- Cleaned, tested, and guaranteed to play. Authentic cartridge.
- Baseball gameplay covers the batter’s box, pitcher’s mound, defensive plays, and team management.
- Pitchers can throw different pitch types, including fast “smoke” pitches and forkballs.
- Pitcher fatigue is signaled through in-game animation, with a wiping-brow cue indicating a pitcher may be wearing down.
- Players can choose lineups to build custom dream teams before taking the field.
- Two-player head-to-head competition supports direct baseball matchups on the same system.
The game uses 16-bit Super Nintendo presentation for its field action, team screens, and arcade-style baseball interface. Its mix of lineup control, fatigue cues, steals, and diving catches gives Extra Innings a distinct early-1990s sports-game feel.
