F1 2002 – PS2 Game

F1 2002 is an officially licensed Formula One game for the PlayStation 2, built around the teams, drivers, cars and circuits of the licensed season. You can take on single races, time trials or a full championship, with practice and qualifying sessions setting your place on the grid. Race weekends scale from short sprints to full distances, and options for opponent difficulty, damage, tyre wear, fuel consumption and weather let you tune how demanding the racing is. Driving aids such as traction control, braking assistance and automatic gearing can be enabled or switched off individually. Car setup covers gearing, aerodynamics and suspension, while pit stops and tyre choice shape strategy over longer races. Commentary and on-screen timing information keep track of sector times and gaps to nearby cars.
