Far Cry Instincts – Xbox Game

A first-person shooter for the original Xbox, adapting the tropical-island premise of Far Cry to console hardware. You play as Jack Carver, fighting through jungle, beach and interior environments against mercenaries, with open-ended terrain that lets you approach guard posts by stealth, from a distance, or head-on. Weapons include firearms, explosives and improvised traps you can set in the environment. The console version adds “feral” abilities, granting heightened speed, strength, hearing and vision along with melee attacks, which change how you handle encounters. Vehicles such as boats and buggies are used to cover ground. Alongside the campaign there is competitive multiplayer and a map editor that lets you build and share your own levels.
