Fatal Labyrinth – Sega Genesis Game

Fatal Labyrinth is a dungeon-crawling role-playing game built on randomly generated floors. You climb a tower one level at a time, fighting monsters in turn-based combat that plays out step by step as you move, and searching for the stairs that lead upward. Equipment, food, potions and scrolls are found unidentified, so using or wearing something is a gamble until you learn what it does. Hunger ticks down as you walk, pushing you to keep moving and to eat what you find. Character growth comes from combat rather than a shop economy, and death sends you back to the beginning, with a new layout waiting on each attempt. The interface is simple and top-down, with menus for inventory and equipment, making it a compact roguelike-style game for the Genesis library.
