FIFA Soccer 10 – PS2 Game

FIFA Soccer 10 on PlayStation 2 continues EA’s football series with licensed teams, leagues and player names. Matches are played 11-a-side from a side-on camera, with the usual set of passing, crossing, shooting and tackling controls, plus manual set-piece aiming for free kicks, corners and penalties. You can jump into a single exhibition match, contest league and knockout competitions, or take a club through a longer career, dealing with team selection, tactics, formations and player transfers across seasons. Presentation follows a televised match template, with commentary, replays and stadium crowd noise. Local multiplayer lets two players compete head to head or line up together on the same team. The PlayStation 2 release is built on the series’ older engine rather than the version used on later hardware.
