Fight Night Round 2 – PS2 Game

Fight Night Round 2 is a boxing game for the PlayStation 2 built around the Total Punch Control scheme, which maps punches to sweeps of the right analog stick rather than face buttons. You block, parry, lean and counter, and you can wind up haymakers that leave you open if they miss. Damage accumulates visibly through swelling and cuts, and between rounds a cutman sequence lets you treat injuries to keep fighting effectively. Licensed boxers from several weight classes are included, and career mode has you creating a fighter, training through drills that raise specific attributes, and working toward title bouts. Modes cover single fights, tournaments and multiplayer matches against a second player on the same console. Referees stop badly one-sided rounds, and knockdowns require a stick-based recovery.
