Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Echoes of Time is an action role-playing game released for Wii alongside a Nintendo DS version, with online play shared between the two systems. You create your own character, choosing race and appearance, and explore dungeons in real time, selecting attacks, magic and items from a ring-style command menu. Spells can be layered together for stronger effects, and equipment is crafted from materials recovered during expeditions. The game supports single-player with AI companions or cooperative play with other players, either locally or online, and the story involves time-shifted versions of the world that you travel between. Presentation uses the stylised art direction of the Crystal Chronicles series, with dungeon-based level design and boss encounters closing out each area.
