Final Fantasy Tactics – PS1 Game

Final Fantasy Tactics is a tactical role-playing game for the PlayStation set in the kingdom of Ivalice. Battles take place on isometric grids where elevation, facing, and turn order all affect what your units can do. You build a party by assigning jobs, each with its own abilities learned through job points, and characters can carry skills from one job into another to create custom combinations. Movement and action are handled separately each turn, and positioning often matters as much as raw stats. The story follows Ramza Beoulve through a conflict driven by noble houses, the church, and a war-torn succession crisis, told largely through text-heavy cutscenes between missions. Between battles you manage equipment, recruit units, and take on optional errands, with random encounters available on the world map for extra experience.
