Final Fantasy X – PS2 Game

Final Fantasy X is a role-playing game for the PlayStation 2. You play largely as Tidus, a young athlete pulled from his home city of Zanarkand into the world of Spira, where he joins the summoner Yuna on a pilgrimage to stop a destructive force called Sin. Battles are turn-based and use a conditional turn system where speed determines order, and you can swap party members in and out mid-fight so each character’s strengths apply to different enemies. Character growth follows the Sphere Grid, a board of nodes unlocked with items earned in combat, giving you some control over which abilities and stats each character gains. Aeons summoned by Yuna fight as independent units. The game features voice acting throughout, fully 3D environments, and the underwater sport Blitzball as an extended minigame.
