Fishing Master – Wii Game

Fishing Master is a fishing game for the Nintendo Wii built around the console’s motion controls. You cast by swinging the Wii Remote, then reel and fight fish using the controller’s movement and buttons, with resistance and line tension deciding whether a catch comes in or breaks free. Play is organised around visiting fishing locations, choosing rods, lures and bait suited to the water and the species you are after, and building up a record of what you catch. Progression comes from taking on tougher fish and working toward larger specimens as your gear and skill improve. Multiplayer lets more than one person compete over catches, passing or sharing controllers depending on the mode. The presentation is bright and approachable rather than simulation-heavy, aiming at pick-up-and-play fishing rather than detailed tackle management.
