Foreman for Real – Gameboy Game

Foreman for Real brings licensed boxing to the Game Boy, built around former heavyweight champion George Foreman. You control a boxer from a side-on view, working with jabs, hooks and body shots while managing your guard and looking for openings against opponents who block, counter and tire over the course of a bout. Matches are decided by knockout or by lasting the scheduled rounds, and stamina management matters as much as raw aggression, since throwing punches constantly leaves you exposed. The handheld presentation keeps the fighters large on screen with simple status meters for health and energy. Controls are straightforward, using the two face buttons for high and low attacks in combination with the directional pad for movement and defence. Progress takes you through a series of opponents on the way toward a title fight.
