Fox Hunt – PS1 Game

Fox Hunt is an interactive movie for the original PlayStation, built almost entirely from live-action full-motion video. You follow a hapless leading man pulled into a comic espionage plot, and rather than controlling a character directly you steer the story: at key moments the game pauses on a choice, and the branch you pick determines which filmed scene plays next and how the plot unfolds. The tone is deliberately light and slapstick, styled after spy comedies, with actors performing the scenes in front of the camera. Some segments add timed inputs and simple action prompts between the video sequences. Because the story splits and rejoins, replaying to take different routes is part of the design, and the discs hold a large amount of video footage relative to other PlayStation releases.
