Freekstyle – Gamecube Game

Freekstyle is an arcade-style freestyle motocross game for the Nintendo GameCube. You race dirt bikes across outdoor courses built around jumps, ramps and rough terrain, competing against rival riders while performing aerial tricks. Landing tricks fills a boost meter that can be spent on bursts of speed, so the game encourages you to leave the ground rather than take the safest line. Trick inputs combine directional movements with button presses, and stringing several together in a single jump pays out more than repeating the same move. Alongside standard races, the game includes freestyle events judged purely on the tricks you perform within a time limit. Crashes cost momentum and time. A selection of riders and bikes is available, with different handling and trick sets.
