Frogger – Gameboy Color Game

Frogger for Game Boy Color brings the hopping arcade formula to Nintendo’s handheld. You guide a frog forward one jump at a time, timing moves to slip between cars and trucks on a busy road, then crossing water by riding logs, turtles and other drifting objects. Falling in the water or being struck costs a life, and each stage runs against a timer that limits how long you can wait for a gap. Reaching the safe area at the top completes a run, after which the pace increases. The game uses the Game Boy Color’s palette for its overhead sprite visuals. Play is built around pattern recognition and precise timing rather than reflexes alone, with high scores serving as the main measure of progress.
