Future Cop LAPD – PS1 Game

Future Cop: LAPD is a mech action game set in a near-future Los Angeles. You pilot the X1-Alpha, a police walker that can switch between a bipedal combat mode and a faster hover mode, each with its own handling and weapon loadout. Primary and secondary weapons are collected as you fight through mission areas, taking on gangs, vehicles and boss-scale machines while protecting objectives. Alongside the main mission campaign, the game includes Precinct Assault, a competitive mode built around capturing outposts on a shared map to build up an automated force and push into the opponent’s base, playable against the computer or a second player. Controls are tuned for arcade-style handling rather than simulation, with a fixed camera behind the mech and an emphasis on constant movement while firing.
