We see this wire cause a variety of issues, from no power to no sound on one side of the headphones. From our repair experience, this internal main wire assembly is often the root cause when the headphones charge but will not power on, lose audio on one side, or fail to connect properly via Bluetooth.
We highly recommend professional installation. This repair is difficult and should only be attempted if you are experienced with fully disassembling and reassembling your headphones.
