Ghen War – Sega Saturn Game

Ghen War is a 3D action game for the Sega Saturn in which you pilot an armed walking mech across open, polygonal alien terrain. Play takes place from a cockpit-style viewpoint as you move across hilly landscapes, engaging enemy machines and installations with your weapons. Missions send you out into large outdoor areas rather than tight corridors, so a good deal of the game involves crossing ground, locating targets and managing engagements at a distance. The Saturn’s 3D hardware is used to render the terrain and enemy craft in full polygons, with a heads-up display showing your status and objectives. It suits players interested in early console mech combat and the Saturn’s library of texture-mapped 3D shooters.
