Ghost House – Sega Master System Game

Ghost House is a side-scrolling action platformer for the Sega Master System set inside a haunted mansion. You explore the house from room to room, moving left and right, climbing stairs and using doors to reach new areas while ghosts, bats and other monsters drift through the corridors. Your character attacks with a sword, and much of the game involves learning enemy patterns and the layout of the building. Vampires must be dealt with by using the mansion’s fixtures, such as striking chandeliers to expose a coffin’s occupant before it can be defeated. The game is built around short, repeatable rooms and quick reflexes rather than long stages, and it uses the bright, simple sprite work typical of early Master System releases.
