Ghost in the Shell

Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex on the PlayStation Portable is an action game based on the anime series of the same name. You take on missions as part of Section 9, the counter-cyberterrorism unit, working through stages that combine gunplay with the setting’s cybernetic technology and think tanks. Levels are built around clearing objectives and enemies across urban and facility environments, using the PSP’s controls for movement and aiming. The presentation draws on the television series, with characters, designs and music tied to the anime, and story sequences framing the missions. It is aimed at players already familiar with Stand Alone Complex who want a portable action game set in that world, and it plays in relatively short mission-sized chunks suited to a handheld.
