Ghosts ‘N Goblins – NES

Ghosts ‘N Goblins is a Capcom action-adventure game for the NES starring a knight on a rescue mission through Hades. The game is built around weapon-based side-scrolling combat, guarded gates, and a lineup of monsters that made the arcade original a demanding home-console challenge.

• Cleaned, tested, and guaranteed to play. Authentic cartridge.
• Side-scrolling action sends the Knight through seven guarded gates while fighting demons, dragons, giants, and zombies.
• The Knight can use five different weapons, with additional weapons found in enemy pots during play.
• Notable encounters include the Demon general Ikkaku at the first gate and the Dragon at the third gate.
• Hazards include cemetery zombies, giants guarding key areas, and flames shooting up from the sea of fire.
• Hidden characters appear throughout the journey, with both helpful and hostile encounters mixed into the stages.

The NES release connects the home version to Capcom’s Captain Commando Challenge Series branding. Its rescue-the-princess quest and armor-clad knight, later known as Arthur in the broader series, anchor the Ghosts ‘N Goblins franchise’s early console identity.
