Go, Diego, Go

Go, Diego, Go: Safari Rescue is a children’s game for PlayStation 2 based on the Nick Jr. animated series. You take the role of Diego, the young animal rescuer, travelling through outdoor environments to help creatures that need assistance. Play is built from short, simple activities rather than a single continuous challenge, with on-screen narration and prompts telling you what to do and giving you time to respond. Tasks lean on counting, shape and colour recognition, matching and basic problem solving, aimed at very young players who may be using a controller for the first time. Characters and settings are drawn to match the television show, and spoken instructions repeat if you wait, so progress does not depend on reading. Designed for preschool-age players, with adults able to help out.
