God Hand – PS2 Game

God Hand is a PlayStation 2 beat ’em up in which you play as Gene, a drifter whose right arm carries the power of the God Hand. Combat is built around a customisable move list: you assign punches, kicks and combo strings to the face buttons, then use the right stick for evasive dodges, duck-backs and side-steps while enemies circle you. A meter fills as you fight, letting you unleash the God Hand’s boosted state, and special Roulette moves, such as exaggerated wrestling throws and comedic kicks, are triggered from a wheel using stocked slots. Enemies come in gangs, and stages end in fights against distinctive bosses. The tone is deliberately comic, with slapstick animation, a rock-and-guitar soundtrack and levels set across dusty frontier-style towns and enemy strongholds.
