God of War

A PSP action game starring Kratos, using the series’ third-person combat with the chained Blades of Athena plus additional weapons and magic abilities. You chain light and heavy attacks into combos, grapple enemies, and complete quick-time prompts to finish off larger creatures. Orbs dropped by enemies and found in chests upgrade your weapons and spells, and hidden chests expand your health and magic meters. Exploration mixes climbing, swimming, and puzzle rooms involving blocks, switches, and hazards, with boss fights against figures and monsters from Greek mythology. The story follows Kratos during his time as a god, dealing with his past and his family. Several difficulty levels are available, along with unlockable extras and challenge content after the campaign.
