Golden Axe II – Sega Genesis

Golden Axe II is a Sega Genesis beat ’em up video game and sequel to Golden Axe. The game sends the Barbarian, the Amazon, and the Dwarf against the Dark Guild in a side-scrolling fight to recover the Golden Axe.

• Cleaned, tested, and guaranteed to play. Authentic cartridge.
• Hack-and-slash arcade-style action mixes close-range attacks, enemy throws, and magic-based screen-clearing offense.
• Three playable warriors return with distinct fantasy combat styles: the Barbarian, the Amazon, and the Dwarf.
• New warrior skills include a double-sided sword attack and a quick back flip move for escaping pressure.
• Enemy dragons can be mounted and used in battle, adding creature-based attacks to the melee combat.
• Amazon fire magic engulfs enemies with flame-based attacks during tougher encounters.

The story centers on the demon Dark Guild and the struggle to reclaim the Golden Axe as a symbol of peace. Its sequel status ties it directly to the original Golden Axe while keeping the same fantasy brawler structure on Genesis.
