Gradius Collection – PSP Game

Gradius Collection brings several entries in Konami’s horizontal-scrolling shooter series together on the PlayStation Portable. Each game puts you in the Vic Viper, flying through side-scrolling stages while collecting power-up capsules that advance a selection bar, letting you pick speed-ups, missiles, shot types, trailing Options and shields at the moment you choose. The games cover different eras of the series, so enemy patterns, stage themes and weapon sets vary between them, though the terrain-hugging level design and large boss encounters are common throughout. The collection includes display and difficulty options suited to handheld play, and stages can be replayed as you learn enemy placement. A single package for players who want to work through multiple Gradius titles in one place.
