Gran Turismo 2 – PS1 Game

Gran Turismo 2 is a racing simulator for the original PlayStation, developed by Polyphony Digital. It expands the structure of the first game with a much larger roster of licensed road cars, tuner models and race machines from a wide range of manufacturers, sold through new and used dealerships. Simulation mode has you passing license tests, entering championships and manufacturer events, and spending prize money on parts covering engine, drivetrain, suspension, brakes and tyres. Alongside asphalt circuits, the game adds rally events on loose surfaces with different handling demands. Arcade mode offers immediate racing on unlocked courses plus split-screen two-player. Replays, tuning menus and per-car settings such as gearing and downforce carry over from the original, with driving physics based on grip and weight transfer.
