Set in Liberty City, this entry follows Huang Lee, who arrives in the city to deliver a family sword and is quickly caught up in Triad politics. It uses an overhead camera rather than the third-person view of the console games, with a cel-shaded art style and a rotating angled perspective. Missions come from a variety of contacts, and between them you can roam the city, steal cars and take on side jobs. A drug trading system lets you buy and sell stock across the map depending on local prices and demand. The PSP release adapts the game from its handheld original, mapping the touch-based tasks and menus to buttons and the analogue stick, and includes radio stations to listen to while driving.
