Gretzky NHL 2005 – PS2 Game

Gretzky NHL 2005 is a licensed ice hockey game for the PlayStation 2, released under Wayne Gretzky’s name. You control an NHL team on the ice, cycling the puck, setting up shots and defending with checks and poke checks, with penalties, face-offs, offsides and icing all in play. In addition to single exhibition matches, the game supports extended play that takes a club through a season, with roster management handled between games. Difficulty settings and period length can be adjusted to shift the pace from a quick arcade-style contest toward a longer simulation match. The presentation uses a broadcast-style layout with commentary, replays and on-screen scoreboard information, and multiple players can compete on the same console in local matches.
