Guitar Hero Encore Rocks the 80’s – PS2 Game

Guitar Hero Encore: Rocks the 80s is a rhythm game using the established Guitar Hero formula with a setlist drawn from 1980s rock and metal. With a guitar controller, you hold the matching fret buttons and strum as colored notes scroll down the fretboard, using Star Power to raise your score multiplier and hold off failure. Career mode works through sets at a series of venues, unlocking songs as you progress, while quickplay lets you revisit anything you have opened up. Two-player modes include cooperative play with lead and bass or rhythm parts and head-to-head competition. Several difficulty levels change how many frets are in use and how busy the charts get. Presentation leans on 1980s styling for characters and venues. It runs on PlayStation 2 with compatible guitar controllers.
