Hammerin’ Hero – PSP Game

Hammerin’ Hero is a side-scrolling action game for the PlayStation Portable and part of the Hammerin’ Harry series. You play as a carpenter who fights his way through stages armed with a large mallet, smashing enemies and obstacles at close range and using it on the ground and in the air. Levels are stage-based, with enemies arriving in waves and boss encounters at the end. A costume system lets the hero take on different jobs, each of which changes his weapon and abilities and alters how you approach a stage. Presentation uses colourful cartoon graphics and a comedic Japanese setting, and levels branch so that you can take different routes on separate playthroughs.
