Happy Feet – Gamecube Game

A GameCube game based on the animated film about a dancing penguin. Play centres on rhythm sequences where you match on-screen prompts in time with music to perform tap-dance routines, interspersed with movement sections where you slide, swim and traverse the Antarctic environments seen in the film. Levels follow the story, moving between ice fields, water and colony settings, with characters and voices from the movie framing the action. Controls are straightforward, using the analogue stick for movement and timed button presses for the dance sequences, and the difficulty is aimed squarely at younger players. Completing sections unlocks further routines and areas. The look is bright and cartoon-styled, using models and settings drawn from the film.
