Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 on Wii adapts the final film in the series and concentrates almost entirely on combat. You aim your wand in third-person view and fire spells at Death Eaters, Snatchers and other creatures, switching between offensive and defensive magic and taking cover during firefights. Levels follow the film’s closing chapters, including the battle at Hogwarts, and several sequences place you in control of characters other than Harry as the story cuts between different parts of the conflict. The Wii release uses the remote for pointing and casting. Missions are linear and objective-driven, with scripted set pieces and boss-style encounters punctuating the fighting, and there is less exploration than in earlier Hogwarts-based games in the series.
