Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone brings the first story to PlayStation 2 as a third-person adventure. You control Harry through his opening year at Hogwarts, learning spells in classes and then applying them to puzzles, locked doors, hostile creatures and environmental obstacles across the castle, dungeons and grounds. Wingardium Leviosa lifts and moves objects, while Flipendo knocks things over and stuns enemies. Exploration is encouraged, with hidden rooms and collectibles including Bertie Bott’s Every Flavour Beans and Wizard Cards tucked away throughout the school. Broom flying appears in lesson form and in Quidditch matches, where you steer Harry after the Golden Snitch. The narrative follows the book’s structure through to the final descent beneath the castle.
