Harvest Moon

Harvest Moon: Hero of Leaf Valley is a PSP farming game built on the premise of Save the Homeland. You take over a farm in a valley threatened by a development company, and you have a limited stretch of time to change its fate. Instead of an endless save file, the game is structured around multiple endings, reached by pursuing different storylines with the valley’s residents and choosing what to spend your days on. Farming work covers planting and harvesting seasonal crops, caring for animals, gathering from the countryside and shipping goods for money. Exploring the valley and talking with people triggers the events that advance each path. Festivals mark the calendar, and this version also includes marriage, so building a relationship with one of the valley’s residents is possible alongside saving the land.
