Haven Call of the King – PS2 Game

Haven: Call of the King is a PlayStation 2 action-adventure in which you play Haven, a young labourer who leaves his world behind and travels outward on a much larger journey. The game mixes several styles of play: on-foot platforming and combat using a bladed yo-yo style weapon, plus sections built around vehicles and flight, with the perspective and objectives changing as the story moves between areas. Levels are connected by cutscenes that carry the plot forward, and progression alternates between exploring environments, fighting enemies and completing set-piece challenges. Along the way you collect items and upgrades that open up new abilities and routes. The scale expands as you go, moving from ground-level locations to airborne and space-bound stages, and the tone is bright and cartoon-styled throughout.
