Hexyz Force – PSP Game

Hexyz Force is a turn-based role-playing game for the PSP. You choose between two protagonists at the outset, each following their own storyline through the same world with a different party and perspective, so the two campaigns cover overlapping events from separate angles. Combat is menu-driven, with characters using weapons and magic drawn from Force items that wear down through use and can be created and recombined rather than simply bought and kept. Progress alternates between story scenes, town visits, and dungeon exploration with random encounters. Presentation uses illustrated character portraits during dialogue and sprite-based battles. The dual-campaign structure means finishing one side leaves a second path through the story available, with different companions and endings to see.
