High Heat Baseball 2000 – PS1 Game

High Heat Baseball 2000 is a baseball simulation for the original PlayStation. The series built its identity around the pitcher-batter confrontation, and that duel is the core of play here: you select pitch types and locations, work counts, and time your swings against the delivery. Fielding and baserunning are handled with standard controller inputs, and you can play single exhibition games or take a team through a longer season with statistics tracked along the way. Presentation is functional rather than flashy, with commentary and crowd audio backing the on-field action. The emphasis throughout is on simulation-style numbers and realistic outcomes rather than arcade exaggeration, which makes it a slower, more deliberate take on the sport than some of its console contemporaries.
