High Heat Major League Baseball 2004 – PS2 Game

High Heat Major League Baseball 2004 brings the simulation-focused baseball series to the PlayStation 2 with Major League Baseball teams, players and ballparks. As in earlier entries, the pitcher-batter matchup carries the game: pitch selection and placement matter, and hitting rewards patience and timing rather than button mashing. You can play exhibition games or manage a club across a full season, with statistics accumulating for players and teams. Fielding, baserunning and substitutions are handled from the controller, and options exist to adjust difficulty and simulation settings. Commentary and stadium ambience accompany play. The overall design favors realistic results and season-long roster management over arcade flourishes, aiming at players who want the numbers of the sport to behave the way they do on a real box score.
