Hogs of War – PS1 Game

Hogs of War is a turn-based strategy game for the PlayStation in which squads of pigs wage war on one another. Play alternates between sides, and on each turn you move one unit around a 3D battlefield and attack with weapons that require you to judge angle, power and wind. Terrain can be destroyed, and units can be knocked into water or off ledges. Between battles, surviving pigs earn promotions into different specialist classes, each with its own equipment and abilities, so building up a squad over a campaign matters. The presentation is comedic, with British military parody, cartoon violence and heavily accented voice work. Multiplayer support lets several players take turns on the same console.
