Hoshigami Ruining Blue Earth – PS1 Game

Hoshigami: Ruining Blue Earth is a turn-based tactical role-playing game for the PlayStation. Battles play out on isometric grids where elevation and facing matter, and units act according to a system that rewards positioning and careful use of each character’s turn. You recruit and develop a party of fighters and mages, assigning equipment and abilities as they gain experience across a story-driven series of engagements. Magic comes from items called Coinfeigms, which can be attached to characters and combined to produce different spells and effects, giving you a degree of control over how each unit is built. Expect long battles, permanent consequences for mistakes, and menu-heavy preparation between missions. Suited to players who enjoy dense strategy RPGs and are willing to learn a nonstandard set of systems.
