Hot Wheels Beat That – PS2 Game

Hot Wheels: Beat That is an arcade racing game for PlayStation 2 based on the die-cast toy line. You race miniature cars around tracks laid out through oversized real-world settings, with orange track pieces, loops, jumps and boosters running across floors, furniture and yards, so the scale is that of toy cars in a full-size environment. Handling is arcade-style, with drifting, boost and aggressive contact rather than realistic physics. A selection of Hot Wheels vehicles is available, and more cars and events open up as you complete races and challenges. Modes cover standard circuit racing alongside objective-based events, and multiple players can race on the same console via split screen. The presentation is bright and cartoonish, aimed at short races and easy pick-up controls.
