Hot Wheels World Race – PS2 Game

Hot Wheels World Race is an arcade racing game for PlayStation 2, based on the Hot Wheels World Race toy line and the animated special connected to it. You drive Hot Wheels cars on courses inspired by the brand’s orange track sets, complete with loops, long jumps, tunnels and stretches of road suspended over open drops. The handling is deliberately arcade-style, with speed boosts and forgiving physics rather than realistic weight and grip, so races come down to keeping momentum through corners and landing jumps cleanly. Vehicles and events unlock as you place well, and races can be run against computer opponents or in split-screen with a second player. Presentation leans on the cartoon styling of the tie-in, with bright colours and stylised car designs throughout.
