IHRA Drag Racing Sportsman Edition – PS2 Game

IHRA Drag Racing Sportsman Edition is a drag racing game for the PlayStation 2 built on the International Hot Rod Association license. Racing is head-to-head over a straight strip, so the focus is on the elements that decide a drag race: staging your car, watching the lights, nailing your reaction time off the line, shifting at the right moment, and keeping the car straight without losing traction. Between runs you work on your vehicle, tuning setup and parts to improve elapsed times. Multiple classes of car are available, and there are single-race and career-style modes as well as head-to-head play. It is a focused, technical take on motorsport rather than a circuit racer, and success depends more on precision and preparation than on steering.
