IL-2 Sturmovik

A World War II aerial combat game for PSP in which you fly fighters, bombers and ground-attack aircraft over major fronts of the war. Missions place you in dogfights against enemy fighters, ground-attack runs on armour and installations, escort duties and defensive intercepts, with objectives updating as the battle develops. Aircraft are drawn from the era’s air forces, and you switch between them as the campaign moves through different theatres. Difficulty settings adjust how much realism the flight model applies, so you can fly with forgiving arcade handling or with stricter physics, stalls and damage modelling. Damage is localised, meaning shot-up control surfaces and engines change how a plane behaves on the way home. The game also includes multiplayer aerial combat. Controls are mapped for the handheld’s single analogue nub and buttons.
